Quality & Watchmaking Services

OUR VISION OF QUALITY

At Very Vintage, we select each watch individually, then examine it carefully before offering it for sale.

All our pieces pass through our hands, then through those of a professional watchmaker with whom we work on a daily basis.

But not all watches require the same level of intervention — and not all warrant a complete overhaul.

To remain honest , consistent and accessible , we have put in place three levels of service, adapted to each watch and its value.

THE OBJECTIVE :

Ensuring a healthy and reliable watch
-
Avoid unnecessary and costly revisions on affordable parts
-
Always offer fair value for money
-
And to remain completely transparent with you.

Our 3 levels of Revision

1. TESTED OVER 24 HOURS

(3-month warranty)

This level applies to watches that function correctly and do not have any significant operational defects.

What has been done:

Bottom opening for inspection
visual of the movement
-
Wear control, lubrication
apparent autonomy
-
Checking the basics
(time setting, date, rotor)
-
One-day extended test
-
Switching to the timegrapher
if the watch allows it

For whom?

This level mainly concerns affordable watches and simple movements where a complete overhaul would be disproportionate to the final price.

2. CONTROLLED & REGULATED

(6-month warranty)

This level applies to watches that function well but require fine-tuning to regain consistent accuracy.

What has been done:

Complete inspection of the movement
-
Lightly oil if necessary
-
Precise adjustment using the timegrapher
-
Partial cleaning
-
Functionality checked over several days

For whom?

This level mainly concerns affordable watches and simple movements where a complete overhaul would be disproportionate to the final price.

3. FULLY SERVICED

(12-month warranty)

This level applies to watches that require more in-depth work or those for which we want to guarantee perfect operation.

What has been done:

Complete disassembly of the movement
-
Ultrasonic cleaning of all parts
-
Complete lubrication
-
Parts replacement
worn if necessary
-
Fine tuning
-
Reassembly and extended testing

For whom?

This level mainly concerns affordable watches and simple movements where a complete overhaul would be disproportionate to the final price.
