DESCRIPTION

Dans les années 1990, Nivada explore pleinement l’esthétique deux tons, en mariant acier et doré dans des formats sobres et habillés. Cette Two Tone Quartz en est une belle illustration, avec son cadran gaufré blanc qui capte superbement la lumière et donne beaucoup de relief à la montre. Les index bâtons dorés et la lunette finement crénelée ajoutent juste ce qu’il faut de présence sans tomber dans l’ostentatoire. Cet exemplaire est totalement NOS, avec son boîtier et son bracelet intacts, prêts à être portés. Son diamètre contenu et son style élégant en font une pièce idéale pour un poignet féminin ou un poignet fin qui veut une montre chic, discrète et facile à porter au quotidien.

Each watch sold by Very Vintage comes with a warranty of between 3, 6 or 12 months depending on the piece.

Before being put on sale, each watch is examined, tested and validated by our partner watchmakers , in order to ensure that it functions in accordance with its age and nature.

This guarantee covers the mechanism and reflects our commitment to the reliability of the watches we select.

Warranty Coverage

In the event of a proven malfunction of the movement during the warranty period, Very Vintage undertakes to:

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs to our workshop, while Very Vintage covers the cost of repair and return shipping.

Warranty Limitations & Conditions

The warranty does not apply when the damage results from:

  • Contact with water or high humidity
  • Drop, shock, impact or excessive vibration
  • Demagnetization
  • Normal wear and tear over time (bracelet, glass, pushers, crown…)
  • Battery replacement for quartz watches
  • Opening or intervention on the watch by a third party, even a professional
  • Inappropriate or non-compliant use
Precision & tolerance

The accuracy of a vintage watch naturally varies depending on:

  • Its caliber
  • Its architecture
  • Its year of manufacture

During the watchmaking inspection, we determine for each watch an acceptable and consistent accuracy tolerance for its era .

A request to correct a variation considered normal or acceptable for this model cannot therefore be covered by the warranty.

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

All our watches are shipped from France, with tracked , insured delivery requiring a signature upon receipt . The packaging is reinforced and specially designed to protect the timepieces.

Delivery times

Orders are shipped within 24 to 48 business hours.

  • France: 2 to 4 business days (Colissimo with signature required)
  • Europe (EU): 3 to 7 business days
  • Outside the EU: delivery times vary depending on the country and customs formalities.

A tracking number is automatically sent upon shipment.

Carriers used

We work primarily with Colissimo International , FedEx and DHL , depending on the destination, the value of the watch and the desired insurance.
Upon request, we can use a specific carrier.

Taxes & customs fees
  • France & European Union: no customs fees.
  • Outside the EU: duties or taxes may apply according to local legislation; these remain the responsibility of the buyer.
Monitoring & support

You can track your package in real time using the tracking number.

In case of delay or blockage, we remain available to assist you until you receive your watch.

QUALITY COMMITMENT

At Very Vintage , each watch systematically undergoes rigorous checks upon arrival: general operation, accuracy, amplitude (for mechanical watches), condition of the movement, wear of components, and aesthetic inspection.

Depending on the condition in which we receive the watch, we apply one of our three levels of preparation , in order to guarantee excellent value for money while respecting the integrity of vintage pieces:

1. Completely revised

The watch has undergone a complete overhaul by our watchmaker:

• Complete disassembly
• Cleaning & oiling of the movement
• Replacement of parts if necessary
• Precision adjustment
• Final inspection over several days

This level guarantees optimal reliability. It is generally applied to high-end watches or those intended for intensive use. This level provides a 12-month warranty on the movement.

2. Controlled & regulated

The watch is then examined by our watchmaker for:

• Motion control
• Range of motion and gait test
• Advance/delay adjustment
• General check of the mechanism

This is our most common option: it ensures reliable operation while maintaining a very competitive price . This option includes a 6-month warranty on the mechanism.

3. Tested & Controlled

The watch is tested over several days to validate its proper functioning, but without internal intervention .

This level of service is applied when the movement is clean, stable, and consistent with the watch's value—particularly for watches under €500 , in order to maintain an attractive price. This level of service provides a 3-month warranty on the movement.

Why don't all watches receive a full overhaul?

Because a complete overhaul represents a significant cost (between €150 and €350 depending on the model).

On a watch sold for €200 to €300 , this cost would almost double the final price — which goes against our philosophy: to make vintage accessible, reliable and honest in its preparation.

We prefer to offer a fair price, clearly indicating the level of preparation applied.

FAQ

Are your watches authentic?

Each watch we offer is meticulously examined by a professional watchmaker specializing in vintage watches.

We systematically check the consistency of the movement, markings, references, components… and pay particular attention to "redial" (repainted dials), which were extremely common in the 50s–60s, especially at Omega (for your information, nearly 50% of Omega watches from this period have been repainted: we therefore take great care never to offer these altered versions).

We do not provide a physical certificate of authenticity, as it would have no legal value (we are not a watchmaking company).

On the other hand, each watch is sold with total transparency regarding its condition, operation, and level of originality.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes.

All our watches come with a 3, 6 or 12 month warranty, depending on the level of servicing they received before being put on sale.

  • 12 months : watch fully serviced by a watchmaker
  • 6 months : watch checked and regulated
  • 3 months : watch tested and checked (level “Tested & Checked”)

The warranty period is specified on each product page.

In the event of a problem covered by the warranty, you can simply contact us: we will arrange for the intervention with our partner watchmaker.

What is Worry-Free Delivery insurance?

Worry-Free Delivery is an insurance option offered at the time of payment.
It protects your order against:

  • The loss
  • Theft (pork piracy)
  • Transport damage
  • Significant delivery delays .

This insurance is provided by Seel , an approved insurer.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE IT?

Simply tick the option when checking out.
The cost is 2% of the order amount .

How does the refund process work?

If a problem arises:

  1. You will receive an automated email with a button to file a complaint .
  2. You fill out the online form
  3. After validation, Seel will reimburse you directly, without going through Very Vintage.

What are the deadlines to be met?

  • Unfortunately, it arrived 7 days after delivery.

Are there any taxes or customs fees?

For shipments within the European Union , there are no customs fees , since all orders are shipped from the Paris region (France) .
For international shipments , certain taxes may apply (local VAT, customs duties or import fees).

Any such costs are the responsibility of the buyer , in accordance with the regulations of the destination country.

We recommend that customers outside the EU check with their local customs service for any potential costs associated with importing.

Do you accept returns?

Yes.
If you are not completely satisfied with your watch, you have 14 days after receipt to request a refund or credit note.
If this deadline is exceeded, we will unfortunately not be able to offer it to you.

The conditions are simple:

  • The watch must be returned in its original condition , unworn, with all accessories.
  • The customer is responsible for the costs and responsibility of the return.
  • The initial delivery charges are non-refundable.

To make a return, simply contact us at the address provided in your order confirmation.
We process requests quickly and always do our best to ensure your experience is positive.

An item arrived damaged – what should I do?

We are sorry if your watch arrived damaged.
The procedure depends on whether or not you subscribed to the Worry-Free Delivery option when you placed your order.

1. IF YOU HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO WORRY-FREE DELIVERY INSURANCE

In this case, your order is protected against transport damage by Seel , ParcelPanel's partner insurer.
The procedure is simple, quick and completely independent of Very Vintage .

Here are the steps:

  1. Open the automated email received after your order, titled "Worry-Free Delivery - File a Claim" .
  2. Click on the File a Complaint button.
  3. Complete the form in the secure Seel portal.
  4. Once your request is validated, the refund is made directly to your payment method .

    (No referral is required except in exceptional circumstances.)

2. IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN OUT INSURANCE

Please follow the standard Very Vintage procedure below:

A. Check your tracking number

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number.
This link allows you to track the progress of your package in real time and check if it has arrived:

– currently in transit,
– awaiting delivery,
– or being processed by the carrier.

B. Check the delivery status directly with the carrier

Some carriers may display:

– “Pending”,
– “Currently being processed”,
– “Exceptional delay”,
– or an attempted delivery notified by a notice.

Updates can sometimes take 24 to 48 hours , especially during periods of high activity.

C. Contact us if the tracking seems blocked or inconsistent.

D. For deliveries outside the European Union

Customs formalities can extend delivery by several days.
