Are your watches authentic?
Each watch we offer is meticulously examined by a professional watchmaker specializing in vintage watches.
We systematically check the consistency of the movement, markings, references, components… and pay particular attention to "redial" (repainted dials), which were extremely common in the 50s–60s, especially at Omega (for your information, nearly 50% of Omega watches from this period have been repainted: we therefore take great care never to offer these altered versions).
We do not provide a physical certificate of authenticity, as it would have no legal value (we are not a watchmaking company).
On the other hand, each watch is sold with total transparency regarding its condition, operation, and level of originality.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes.
All our watches come with a 3, 6 or 12 month warranty, depending on the level of servicing they received before being put on sale.
- 12 months : watch fully serviced by a watchmaker
- 6 months : watch checked and regulated
- 3 months : watch tested and checked (level “Tested & Checked”)
The warranty period is specified on each product page.
In the event of a problem covered by the warranty, you can simply contact us: we will arrange for the intervention with our partner watchmaker.
What is Worry-Free Delivery insurance?
Worry-Free Delivery is an insurance option offered at the time of payment.
It protects your order against:
- The loss
- Theft (pork piracy)
- Transport damage
- Significant delivery delays .
This insurance is provided by Seel , an approved insurer.
HOW DO I ACTIVATE IT?
Simply tick the option when checking out.
The cost is 2% of the order amount .
How does the refund process work?
If a problem arises:
- You will receive an automated email with a button to file a complaint .
- You fill out the online form
- After validation, Seel will reimburse you directly, without going through Very Vintage.
What are the deadlines to be met?
- Unfortunately, it arrived 7 days after delivery.
- Flight: 7 days
- Loss: 30 (France) / 60 (international)
- Delay: 10 (France) / 30 (international)

Are there any taxes or customs fees?
For shipments within the European Union , there are no customs fees , since all orders are shipped from the Paris region (France) .
For international shipments , certain taxes may apply (local VAT, customs duties or import fees).
Any such costs are the responsibility of the buyer , in accordance with the regulations of the destination country.
We recommend that customers outside the EU check with their local customs service for any potential costs associated with importing.

Do you accept returns?
Yes.
If you are not completely satisfied with your watch, you have 14 days after receipt to request a refund or credit note.
If this deadline is exceeded, we will unfortunately not be able to offer it to you.
The conditions are simple:
- The watch must be returned in its original condition , unworn, with all accessories.
- The customer is responsible for the costs and responsibility of the return.
- The initial delivery charges are non-refundable.
To make a return, simply contact us at the address provided in your order confirmation.
We process requests quickly and always do our best to ensure your experience is positive.
An item arrived damaged – what should I do?
We are sorry if your watch arrived damaged.
The procedure depends on whether or not you subscribed to the Worry-Free Delivery option when you placed your order.
1. IF YOU HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO WORRY-FREE DELIVERY INSURANCE
In this case, your order is protected against transport damage by Seel , ParcelPanel's partner insurer.
The procedure is simple, quick and completely independent of Very Vintage .
Here are the steps:
- Open the automated email received after your order, titled "Worry-Free Delivery - File a Claim" .
- Click on the File a Complaint button.
- Complete the form in the secure Seel portal.
- Once your request is validated, the refund is made directly to your payment method .
(No referral is required except in exceptional circumstances.)
🕒 IMPORTANT: Your claim must be made within 7 days of delivery.

2. IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN OUT INSURANCE
Please follow the standard Very Vintage procedure below:
A. Check your tracking number
As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number.
This link allows you to track the progress of your package in real time and check if it has arrived:
– currently in transit,
– awaiting delivery,
– or being processed by the carrier.
B. Check the delivery status directly with the carrier
Some carriers may display:
– “Pending”,
– “Currently being processed”,
– “Exceptional delay”,
– or an attempted delivery notified by a notice.
Updates can sometimes take 24 to 48 hours , especially during periods of high activity.
C. Contact us if the tracking seems blocked or inconsistent.
If no updates have appeared for several days, or if the status seems unusual, you can write to us at: 📩 hello@veryvintage.eu
We will open an investigation with the carrier and keep you informed.
D. For deliveries outside the European Union
Customs formalities can extend delivery by several days.
These delays are beyond our control, but we are happy to assist you in monitoring and resolving the situation.
